• This leads to perception that company is looking for men.
• Women feel lower sense of belongingness and find the listing less appealing.

Essentially, this unconscious language difference widens the historic gender gap in male-dominated fields (Gaucher et al., 2011). Thus, we created NeutralizeIt to replace the gendered words in job listings that potentially deter women from applying. We hope this will reduce the gender gap in the hiring process of male-dominated occupations.

1. Download NeutralizeIt from Releases and unzip the package.
2. Using Google Chrome, go to Chrome Extensions (chrome://extensions).
3. Enable "Developer mode" and click on "Load unpacked".

4. Choose the root directory of NeutralizeIt.
5. You will now be able to toggle the extension from the extensions page!
